Georgetown Railroad Co.

The Georgetown RR main engine house is the only place in our railfan travels that we have ever been chased away from a public road by a security guard. It was easier to leave than to argue with the guy. I found out a year or so later that the GRR had been part of a development of some conveyor belt cars used for unloading rock/ore/balast. Maybe they were protecting their secrets. Anyway, we were fortunate to catch these GRR engines sitting in the yard in Lufkin, Tx.
