Day 0
Rather than showing a bunch of suitcases, I thought I would
show our attempt to take geek to Wyoming. First a couple
of our new additions:

A monopod. Good for taking steady photographs and yet quickly
moved from place to place with little or no setup. The tripod
has already been shipped to Wyoming.

A wireless transmitter. This can be plugged into a radio
scanner or a handheld CD player. The device transmits on
88.1-88.7 so that you can listen to your handheld device
through the car speakers. Dad's blazer has a cassette deck
but no CD player.
Finally, the geek kit. It has been said that this is more
technology than they send astronauts into space with. Technology
solves everything. If we see a bear, I'll be sure to throw
a PDA at it. Can you identify: scanner, cell phone, laptop,
charger for scanner, charger for cell phone, PDA, PDA cradle,
ionic air device, USB memory key and two SLR cameras?

Ah, roughing it!
