Day 1
Flying to Casper, Wyoming takes three flights
from Baton Rouge. For us this was Baton Rouge to Dallas,
Dallas to Salt Lake City and then Salt Lake to Casper.

Our Canada Air regional jet has arrived in Baton Rouge.

Since it's a small jet, we get to walk down and across
the tarmac to board. Still this small jet was designed to
work well in turbulent mountain air and usually gives a
good ride.

Oh yeah. Mike really hates flying commercial. This is why.

So that is how they know where to stop the different kinds
of planes. This is at a large gate in Dallas.

Uh oh. We are in Salt Lake now getting ready to board the
final flight to Casper. The planes are getting smaller. An
EMB120 turboprop. Nancy isn't too sure about this one. Mike
who grew up with his father owning a single engine Cessna
thinks it's cool.

Finally. At Mike's parents just in time to beat the thunder
storm. When the weather clears, we will get a better picture
of Casper down below and also the mountain rising in front
of the house. That's it for today.
