Day 7
Today started as a relatively quiet day. We
took a short road trip to Glenrock to look for an industrial
railroad from a coal mine to a power plant. The railroad
isn't there any more; in its place we found a ranch with
a llama and lots of sheep. At least the weather was nice
and the scenery was colorful.
Midafternoon Mike set up the tripod so we could photograph
the hummingbirds frequenting the feeder. This is just one
shot of about 40 that Nancy took with the digital camera.
Wonder how many more we will have in prints?! This was only
one of at least three different varieties; it's the most
colorful with the ruby throat.

Ever seen a platypus for a mascot? This is Hobart, mascot
for the Casper Rockies Rookie League Baseball team. This
was taken before it started raining - yes, really, even
in Wyoming.

Just one train shot today from the Casper yard, EMDX 783.
Not much going on, and it only had a few cars to drop off.
Goes well with the blue sky, doesn't it?

Tomorrow is Mike's dad's birthday, so we'll be doing more
family things in Casper. Have a good weekend!
